Competitive Rates: We have eliminated most assessorial charges to provide our customers with a simplified rate structure, thus reducing phone calls for quotes. We have not implemented a rate increase since September of 2005.

100% company owned and operated equipment: From small vans to tractors with up to 53’ trailers; covering all areas of the Central Valley. Local flatbed services also available upon request.

Uniformed drivers: All drivers are company employees, are required to be in uniform, and to conduct themselves in a professional manner while representing our company as well as your company.

24 hour video surveillance of both facilities Nextel communication with our drivers: Direct Connect two-way radios keep our drivers in compliance with laws regarding no cell phone usage while driving. All pickups and deliveries are communicated with our EDI system to each driver’s individual phone, enabling real time information for our customers.

Email communication with our dispatch and customer service staff: You never have to pick up the phone; our responsive team is always ready to assist.

Direct EDI interface via Etrac: Track your shipments door to door with your customized login to Etrac. With our Nextel EDI system all pickups and deliveries are updated in real time through the DataTrac Etrac system.

HazMat Certified drivers: Our company provides specialized handling of Hazardous Materials shipments. DOT and State certified.

Company wide TSA trained and certified employees: We are compliant with recurrent training and testing; STA’s available upon request

Valley Transportation has been in business over 20 years; in 1991 we opened our Bakersfield facility. The company currently owns 3 warehouses in the Fresno Area with over 80,000 sq ft. Our corporate office and Fresno Distribution Center are located in the largest of those buildings, with 50,000 sq ft. We are in a long term lease in a 20, 000 sq ft facility in Shafter, Ca located 6 miles from the Bakersfield airport and next door to the Target Distribution Center.
